Previous actions for July Type of Issue |
Location |
Comments/Requests for Action |
|
Illegal use of Motorcycles on and around the estate |
Grange estate, the school fields and Grange Park |
Residents request a more consistent approach by the police patrols who attend when they report the bikes. Too often the patrol car just drives past and does not speak to the riders. Also when they are stopped it seems that they are just spoken to and no action is taken |
|
Drugs |
Grange estate |
Residents state that there are people who blatantly deal drugs on the street and from their houses. They ask for more action by the council as well as the police. In their turn the police and council asked for more information which could be used as evidence against the offenders. Crimestoppers number was given for anonymous information. |
|
Drunken parties which lead to antisocial behaviour on the street |
Alder Rd |
Residents request more positive action from the police to arrest for drunk and disorderly etc and, for the council to enforce the tenancy agreements with regard to anti social behaviour. |
