1) Dogs Patrols in the area had been of high visibility, during which time some dog owners had been spoken to as regards allowing their animals to foul pavements, also Pc Grimshaw had followed roaming dogs in the Oxford St area and warned their owners about the penalties of this occurring again. Residents were asked without putting themselves in danger to continue to report any activity they deem suspicious 2) Juvenile Nuisance in the area Youths spoken to by officers and appear to have taken notice,

Parking issues on Charlotte Place and accessibility for emergency vehicles
Parkwise have been contacted since the last meeting and asked to assist the police in solving this issue; however it seems from the meeting this evening that the problems have not been resolved and therefore Pc Thompson is going to contact parkwise again and ask Mr Hill to attend the next Pact meeting. The police have also been monitoring the situation since our last meeting and again stressed that any obstruction problems to contact the police immediately. It was suggested that residents organise a letter for the local council expressing their concerns. Pc Thompson to contact Y Hinds regarding a living streets initiative organised in Preston West and brings feedback to the next pact meeting.
2 Youths nuisance in Frenchwood St area
The problem still exists. Information was given to Pc Thompson from the residents which were duly noted. Pc Thompson introduced Mr I Kay from Sports Development. All the problems that had been discussed so far at this evenings meeting had been encountered by the Sports Development Team and they were trying to engage with these youths either as a group or on a 1-1 basis so as to engage in sports. There is so much sport activity for the youth to do, Christ the King – there will be an extended schools programme hopefully from the end of February which will see gym work being encouraged. A lot of anti-social behaviour has been directed at the rec zone
